On May 21, 2019, the first edition of the Des Chênes-toi race was held in Drummondville, presented by Transport Bourret. Kartus was invited to be part of the event. Indeed, the association of parents of children with disabilities of Drummondville rented a dozen Kartus, which allowed a greater number to experience the feelings of the race. Des Chênes-toi aims to be the most inclusive race in Quebec; Kartus was therefore well suited to support the event. The enthusiastic faces of the co-runners once again affirmed the company’s mission: to share the happiness of the community and the outdoors with everyone.
Several firsts materialized during the race: it was the first edition, and also the first time that so many MKII Kartus running chairs were used! The MKII has once again proven its value, with superior handling greatly facilitating the completion of different distances. Simply the best running chair in the world for the race.
Note also the involvement of Maxim Martin and Frédéric Plante in the event. Conclusion: first edition, total success. See you next year!
